Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

Engagements

All engagements begin with a scoping document that defines the scope, timeline, and fixed fee. Work does not begin until the scoping document is signed by both parties. Scope changes require a separate written agreement before additional work begins.

Payment

Payment terms are defined in each engagement's scoping document. Setup fees are due before work begins. Monthly retainers are billed on the first of each month. Late payments suspend non-critical services after 14 days and all services after 30 days.

Intellectual property

On full payment of the engagement fee, the client owns the deliverables produced for their engagement. Abrevon retains ownership of any internal tooling, packages, or frameworks used in delivery that are not specific to the client's system.

Ongoing services

Monthly retainer services continue until terminated by either party with 30 days written notice. Abrevon reserves the right to terminate services for non-payment or material breach of these terms.

Liability

Abrevon's liability in connection with any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement in the three months preceding the claim. Abrevon is not liable for indirect losses, lost revenue, or business interruption arising from system downtime or failures outside our control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Trinidad and Tobago. Disputes arising from engagements will be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any formal proceedings are initiated.
